So you wanna be a DJ do you now. This is a quick intro into how to be a DJ and to see if you have what it takes. First off you must love music and i don’t mean just one kind you must like all music and all types. If your not a fan of music this is not the gig for you! You must also be up on the latest music and the oldies too, you must also know that when your spinning the hits your also going to need some wheels of your own. but good news if you don’t you can always use lyft to get you to any event on time every time. Still with me so far? Good Next determine what kinda music most people like to here and dance to. My advice is too pick the top 200 songs from each year and make sure you have them all. Now all this work calls for a thirst quenching Coca cola to cool you down and refresh your spirits. Its the perfect mix to any event you are at. So once you have all your music next thing is to get your equipment you will need a few basic things to start a microphone, mixer, amplifier, speakers and a cd player. You can also use a laptop to play music as well but that also means you will need some software to run like a pro. I suggest virtual DJ or tractor just to name a few. Also while your searching for software to download make sure you get on OK cupid to find a date to take with you to your event. Its the easiest way to find someone new to meet. Now that you have everything you need to get started what are you waiting for get out there have fun and remember you are the life of the party. Be looking out for our next blog helpful hints and tips.

Facebook Users
Are you a facebook user? Do you think your information is safe with the tech giant? Well i have news for you its not. Facebook gave out 1.5 million users information out to Cambridge Analytica back in 2016. So if you have been a user your info could have been given out. How would this make you feel if you were one of the people who’s information was given to this company. The most important question is why did they give out this info. And what gives them the right to do this without your permission or knowledge. I think it is unfair to use people’s personal info without permission or consent. Do you truly trust them with your info do you feel your info is safe? With everyone worried about identity theft and hackers this doesn’t make things any safer what so ever. Now facebook must pay a fine for breaking the law but where will that money go. Will it go to some big federal agency or to the people that had their information compromised? And even if the money goes back to the people is your info worth what little they are willing to give you for breaking the law. It made me laugh when i read that they would have to pay up to 5 billion dollars. But reports say they made in the first quarter of the year a grand total of 15 billion dollars and would make even more in projected income the next quarter. So the way i see it they are barely taking a hit at all this is like a drop in the bucket for them and they had the money already set aside to pay the fine in full. From the sound of it they were ready to pay the fine and didn’t care what happened to your information. How can we keep our info safe? My advise is don’t give it out in the first place at least not to facebook they cant be trusted.

News story
2 Florida middle school girls accused of plotting to murder students on ‘hit list’
We see this way to much in the news these days. Too many kids think its OK to plan out and plot ways to harm other students. This is crazy that two girls sat down and thought out how to kidnap, burn and murder there classmates. They planned it out start to finish and will now face charges of kidnapping, and conspiracy of a plotted murder. How can we change this behavior and keep our kids safe. When is a hit list a prank or joke. I feel we are not safe sending kids to school anymore. Do we need more police presents, or is it how the children are raised, is it society. I feel this is such a growing issue. But its becoming such a recurring thing in the news. How do we keep this from happening over and over again. We must remember these were 14 year old girls. I don’t know when we will wake up and see that these stories are a tragedy, but maybe if we read enough of them we could learn, why this is happening so that we can prevent this from being a constant tragedy. I think if we studied these storys maybe we can find a solution to the problem.

Country music artists and fans mourn the loss of a legend in the music industry. Earl Thomas Conley, who died Wednesday at the age of 77 was a friend and icon to many in the music industry. Conley was famous for songs like “Holding Her and Loving You,” “Angel In Disguise” & “What I’d Say,” had 18 No. 1 country hits & 25 Top 10 songs. He was suffering from a condition like dementia prior to his death. So many artists including John Rich, Jason Alden, Trisha Year-wood and many others were sad to hear the news of his passing. They all said Conley had an influence on there careers and lives many knew him as a friend. Blake Shelton said it was a sad day to here that such a great icon is no longer with us. In 1986, Conley became the first-and-only country artist to appear on an episode of “Soul Train.” That was thanks to his duet, “Too Many Times,” with singer Anita Pointer of the Pointer Sisters. The song reached number two on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart and number three the Canadian country chart. Conley and Pointer were at the 1987 American Music Awards on the strength of the single. This man did many things in his 77 years on earth but now may he rest in peace.

scandals of the college
College is supposed to be a fun and educational experience. A time that you prepare for all your life. But some people think it is OK to cheat there way to get in to college.Parents want there kids to go to college and get the best education possible but is it ok to cheat your way in. There was a man who if parents would pay a selected amount of money would take the act or sat test and score high enough to get your kid into college. Is this right or wrong? Experts say that it is wrong to cheat on a college application. And if you are caught it can come with huge penalties and even getting kicked out of school. And who thinks about the kids that worked hard and studied hard to make there dream of college a reality. How is it fair to them if they worked and didn’t cheat there way in. And now they may not be able to get in after all there efforts. How can it be fair to just throw money at someone and let them do the work to get your child into college. It is extremely frustrating to know that as a parent who makes a good living but isn’t rich that your child may not make it in because of others. Who is responsible for checking into who is actually taking the test and who cheats. Can you really say that its up to the parents the school board, the college or the individual student. What is going to be the punishment for this type of behavior. Could you as a student wind up behind bars because your parents paid without your knowledge or consent. What are your thoughts family?
